Privacy Policy
Last updated: 21 July 2026
The short version: your CV is created on your device, your PDF is made on your device, and we only store anything at all if you sign in. No advertising, no data selling, no tracking cookies.
Who we are
BrioCV (“we”) operates this website. For anything in this policy, write to hello@briocv.com.
Your CV stays on your device
Everything you type into the editor is saved in your browser’s local storage, on your device. Using BrioCV without an account sends none of your CV content to us.
Your PDF is generated entirely in your browser too — the document never travels to a server to be rendered.
Accounts and syncing
If you sign in, we store your email address to send you sign-in links, and your saved CVs so you can reach them from any device. Both live with our database and authentication provider, Supabase, and are used for nothing except providing the service.
Deleting a CV removes it from our database. To delete your account and everything in it, send us an email.
What we never do
No advertising, no selling or renting of data, no tracking cookies, no profiling. Your CV content is never read, analysed or shared — it exists only so we can show it back to you.
Analytics
Our only measurement is Cloudflare Web Analytics: a cookieless tool that counts visits in aggregate. It stores nothing on your device and does not follow you across the web.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can access, correct, export and erase your data. Most of it you can do yourself: edit anything in the editor, export your CV as a JSON file, delete CVs in the app. For anything else, email us — we reply within 30 days.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the new version appears on this page with an updated date.
